Testing Intern

Role Overview

At Innovatesoft Private Limited, the Testing Intern will learn software quality assurance principles and practical testing methodologies to ensure high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly software applications. Training & Real-Time Project Experience: This is a paid internship offering structured guidance, professional QA training, and hands-on work on real-time company projects under senior team supervision. Interns participate in testing actual assigned project features, preparing test scenarios and checklists, identifying and documenting defects with clear evidence, validating bug fixes, and learning professional QA workflows. Interns also explore automated testing tools where appropriate to the assigned project. All activities are performed in a structured learning environment under appropriate supervision, without unauthorized access to confidential client data or production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of real-time project features under team guidance. • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and checklists based on requirements. • Identify, document, and reproduce bugs with clear steps and evidence. • Retest fixes and perform regression testing on assigned applications. • Assist with API testing and browser/device compatibility testing. • Learn test planning, defect tracking, quality standards, and release workflows. • Collaborate with developers and other team members to improve product quality. • Learn automation testing tools where appropriate to the assigned project.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Eligibility: Students, freshers, or candidates with academic projects/portfolio demonstrating testing or debugging interest. • Required Skills: Basic understanding of web applications and software development concepts; attention to detail, logical thinking, clear communication, and willingness to learn; basic knowledge of browsers, forms, and test scenarios. • Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Jest, Postman, API testing, or bug tracking tools (Jira, GitHub Issues).
